My 14 Day "Travel" Challenge for You
Firstly, I hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe during this scary time. It is difficult to know what to think or what to do but there will be light after this darkness. We will explore this world again soon and overcome the sadness we now feel.
The one thing we have an abundance of right now is the thing that we typically complain about never having enough of - time. With this time, I want to challenge you to a 14-day activity that is simple but one I think will have lasting benefits.
Each day, over the next two weeks, go through your phone or computers and find a photo of a travel memory that brings a smile to your face. Dig back years to trips that you may have even forgotten about. Sit a moment and really remember that experience - who you were with, what you were eating and drinking, the smells in the air, everything. If you have social media, I encourage you to share this happy post and tag those individuals.
But, my true challenge to you, is to reach out to the people in these photos and say hi. Ask them how they are doing and catch up with them. Travel not only broadens our mind but introduces us to new friends - some who join our journey regularly and others who made an impact in just that moment. Let's take a moment to reconnect with those individuals who have impacted us along the way.
We will get past this and we will travel again - creating new memories and making new friends along the way. Until then, let's take this time to remember happier moments and those who helped create them with us.
Stay safe and feel free to reach out at any time to say hi!

P.S. The photo above is a wonderful travel memory celebrating my sister, Meredith's 30th birthday at Ashford Castle in Ireland with my other sister, Jenny!
