Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian
A few months ago, I experienced beautiful Edinburgh for the first time and quickly fell in love with this magical city. From the history to the fun pub scene and even a little Harry Potter, this city has it all. From the second I walked into The Caledonian, I knew it was the perfect place to experience Edinburgh for the first time with its prime location and stunning views. The building itself is a landmark - a former Victorian railway building hotel nestled in the shadow of the imposing Edinburgh Castle. The rooms are exquisitely appointed - many with Castle views. I loved the morning breakfast in Peacock Alley - the perfect place to plan the day. I explored every aspect of the city the week I was there and can help you plan the perfect adventure based on what you want to do - from the underground vaults to the Royal Yacht to the Johnny Walker experience (conveniently right across the street from the hotel.) Everyone needs to experience this spectacular city.

Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel
Rome has always been one of my favorite cities and I have always been curious about this hotel. The property is the only luxury city resort overlooking the Eternal City and has incredible views from its 370 rooms, the only 3-star Michelin restaurant in the city, and its many public terraces. Rome Cavalieri is also home to a prestigious private museum-worthy art collection, the largest in the world housed in a hotel. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle right to the center of town which was great and convenient but it was difficult to leave the splendor of the property, to be honest! The pool area is amazing - the perfect place to relax after exploring the city and the spa was incredible. This is the perfect choice for those going on a cruise out of the Rome area and want a few days before or after to enjoy a luxurious experience in Rome.

I was fortunate enough to be one of the first guests at this iconic property in DC last month right after Waldorf Astoria took it over. I have always loved this landmark in the city - the Old Post Office and one of the tallest buildings. The lobby is simply stunning - with one of the largest atriums and an impressive Peacock Alley bar. If I lived in Washington DC, this would definitely be one of my regular spots for an after-work cocktail. The rooms are among the largest in the city and are appointed in a modern perspective on classic D.C. grandeur. The ceiling height throughout the building adds to the magnificence. This is truly the perfect place to stay when exploring the city and only a short walk to all of the tourist spots, incredible dining, and more.
