Mandarin Oriental | Paris
Working in the travel industry, I am fortunate to be able to visit and stay in some stunning properties around the world. Recently, I was with my parents and sister in Paris for a few days and had the opportunity to stay at the Mandarin Oriental there. I have stayed at their properties before and always have a wonderful and luxurious experience but I must say this stay was over the top wonderful.
Checking in, we were greeted with champagne as the paperwork was finalized for the room. (10:30 am is not too early for champagne in Paris in my book…) Our rooms were stunningly appointed with beautiful bathrooms and a large sitting area. Take a look:
After getting situated (and enjoying the lovely snack waiting for us), we took a look around the property. The spa area was wonderful and the pool was a relaxing retreat from the hot summer day. We also enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard which was delicious and a perfect assortment of made-to-order food and buffet.

The location of the property is stellar - across the street from the new Chanel flagship and right in the heart of shopping paradise. When you are inside the hotel, you feel as though the hustle and bustle of Paris is washed away and the staff goes out of their way to ensure you have a relaxing stay. I can honestly say that the staff was among the best I have ever experienced and so attentive to our needs.
