Custom Real Estate Marketing Solutions

I have been involved in real estate marketing for more than 10 years, working in a variety of markets from Boston to Los Angeles (and many places in between!) During this time, I have worked with companies as well as individual agents to develop and execute plans that work for them, their markets, and their target customers. I am also a regular contributor for publications such as Inman News, a leader in real estate news and technology.

But enough about me. As I said, I work with clients of all sizes to see where I can add benefit to their existing marketing strategy - or help them develop one that works with their business and budget! Oftentimes, agents are doing some really good things but maybe not as consistently as they could - or in the best possible way. This is where I come in.

I will work with you to see what makes sense for you using strategies that I have worked on with other agents around the country. This can be content, reworking materials like listing and buyer presentations, developing Calls-to-Action, building out individual property websites, developing plans for social media, and so much more. Here are just some of the solutions I developed for just one firm in Boston:

Agent Websites

Having a website as a real estate agent serves as a portfolio for who you are - your brand on the internet. It should showcase your successes and let a potential client know who you are - and what working with you will be like. An agent's website also is the home of your blog which allows you to share information that people can't find anywhere else. It is an important piece of the funnel that represents you and your brand.

Property Listing Websites

Individual property websites for listings have become more popular over the past few years because technology has made it easier to make professional-looking sites at a lower cost and in a shorter amount of time. They are great tools for you to offer sellers as part of your listing package and can lead to not only impressed buyers, but heighten your reputation as a listing agent.

I recently published an article outlining 8 key components to an individual property website that has some great tips. Every market is a little bit different so I work to include the components that are important to your target consumers. Here are a few screen shots of one example:

Agent Landing Pages

Having a landing page that outlines your expertise and accomplishments is an important piece of the puzzle for generating attention from clients. This is a page you can share and promote anytime you are working on your online presence and reputation. Beyond looking good, it is pivotal that this page works as a lead generating machine, driving business to you. Here is one example of an agent landing page I developed:

Social Media Strategy

Social media is a part of many real estate marketing plans, but typically not executed in the best way. Consistency is one of the most important keys to having an effective strategy on social media networks such as facebook. Facebook is obviously a big player in the social media arena but I have coordinated successful campaigns on a variety of networks such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and more!

Website Design & Content Creation

Most companies and even individual agents have websites that their potential clients can go to in order to learn more about them and see listings. But this is no longer enough! Your website should serve as a lead generating machine and be designed in a way that doesn't just look good - but works for you.

On top of looking good, your website has to have information that people want to read. A successful content strategy can turn a small company into a much larger presence by providing interesting and keyword specific information. I have proven experience writing for a variety of my client's blogs and publications and generate interest by using best practices in the industry.

Here is a snapshot of some of my most read blog articles - each generating hundreds of views for clients:

Listing / Buyer Presentations

This is one of the most important tools in your arsenal because oftentimes it is the first impression when you meet with a buyer or seller. Having a dynamic presentation filled with the information about you, but more importantly about what you can do for them, is vital. I work with agents to create custom solutions that can be presented a variety of ways - printed, on a tablet, online, etc.

Email Marketing

Email campaigns are nothing new - but you can develop effective emails that people will WANT to read! Weekly or monthly newsletters filled with unique information they can't easily find other places is an invaluable lead generator. Additionally, having effective drip campaigns can help you turn a tire-kicker into a HOT lead!

Email marketing is all about consistency and putting the information that people want in front of them. One campaign I ran saw an open rate of double industry average! Here is a little preview of part of it:

Online Reputation Management

It shocks me the amount of people I talk to that don't know the conversation that is being had about them online! Your online reputation is so important - just like your offline one. You need to manage your reviews on sites such as Yelp and build positive interaction with clients. I would wager that you do an online search for a new service provider you are considering - others are no different.

I implement a plan that not only monitors what others are saying about you online, but initiate procedures to respond to it. You want to be dedicated to your brand and make sure the conversation that is being had is the one you want!

Advertising

There is certainly a place for paid advertisement in any market - although I build a lot of campaigns without this and see immense success. However, clients that want to boost their presence need to manage these campaigns in order to see optimum ROI. There are a variety of ad campaigns that I have seen success with including online, retargeted, and even print.
